How does the anaesthesia work?+
Eyelid surgery is usually performed under local anaesthesia, with light sedation on request. During the procedure the area is numb.
How long does the procedure take?+
Depending on the extent, usually about 30 to 90 minutes. We discuss the exact scope individually.
When will I be presentable again?+
Many patients are active again after a few days; you will receive precise recommendations in person.
What side effects are possible?+
Temporarily, swelling, bruising, a feeling of dryness or light sensitivity may occur. We inform you medically about possible risks beforehand.
